Default Gallery Settings introduction
When you create a photo gallery, you can set up a watermark (text or image), choose what image gallery format to use, and select whether or not to display exif data. Rather than re-select this information for every gallery, you can create a default setting which will automatically apply to every gallery you create.
You can change settings for every gallery after you create them, but configuring the default settings first means that you do not have to change each gallery after you create it.
Configure gallery settings
- Go to your profile page
- Either click your name next to Signed In on the top-right of the screen, or click My Profile on the side menu (side menu not available on all screens)
- Click Default Gallery Settings
- Select whether or not you Want to add watermark
- If you want to sell your photos, you should use the Harmony on Tap watermarking system, as the watermark appears on all photo displays, but is not included when a customer purchases a digital download of your photo
- If not selling photos, you may add your own watermark to the image before you upload, or if you do not want to use a watermark, select No
- If using the HoT Watermark, select whether to use an Image watermark or a Text watermark
- When using an image watermark, upload the image with the Choose File button
- When using a text watermark, type the text in the Text box
- Select the Position and Opacity (see-thru) for the text or image
- Select which Image Gallery format to use
- Select whether or not you wish to Display Exif data
- Click Submit
