You conduct an e-mail interview by accepting the interview assignment, writing interview quesitons, submitting the quesitons through e-mail, and receiving the responses through e-mail.

E-mail interviews have advantages that make them attractive for both the interviewer and the artist.

Easy article creation

The interviewer's job of creating text content based on the interview requires the least amount of effort when doing interviews through e-mail.  After you copy and paste the e-mail responses, format the content for your particular outlet, and then post it.

Thoughtful answers, casual response time

When an artist has time to think about the answer, they can give you great material for your content pieces.

Conducting an e-mail interview

Research your subject first.

Submit your questions on the Harmony on Tap contact form, and select the Category, Submit questions for artist interview. Specify within the submission which artist the interview is for.

When the artist provides the answers to your questions, we will send the answers to you through e-mail.

After we send the answers to you through e-mail, post your content online in less than two business days.
