Morten Harket, Paul Waaktaar-Savoy, and Magne Furuholmen (a.k.a., “Mags”) brought their Norwegian hit music to Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California, to the delight of many in the audience.
The fans sang along to every song, joining Morten in every lyric not only on the popular singles, but each song the band played that night.
Morten looked amazing. The entire band moved around the stage with casual grace and ease, bouncing with the music, feeling the beat, and expressing the melody with every action.
This tour, the band’s last, comes appropriately named, “ending on a high note 2010.” Morten has a well-known ability to reach high notes in his songs, and he proved during this tour that he still can reach those notes.
The last 6 months of this final tour takes A-Ha through Germany, Hungary, Switzerland, Japan, the U.K., Belgim, France, Spain, Russia, and of course their native Norway on several occasions. You can find the remaining A-Ha concert dates.
With nine studio albums, starting with the ever-popular Hunting High and Low, the band also has five live albums. Find How Can I Sleep with Your Voice in My Head, released in 2003, to hear their most popular live performances.
A-ha announced last year that after this tour, they will split so that they can pursue solo careers. Their final concert will take place in Oslo, Norway, on December 4, 2010.
